Nehemiah | Nehemiah 1:1-3 (NLT)
I asked them about the Jews who had returned there from captivity and about how things were going in Jerusalem.
Nehemiah was the cupbearer for the king (v 10).
3-day delay | Nehemiah 2:11-16 (AMP)
“Deeply affected with the desolations of Jerusalem, and uncertain what course to follow, he remained three days before informing any one …” (JFB)

Reform 5- Purify priesthood | Nehemiah 13:28-29

Summary of Nehemiah | Nehemiah 13:30-31
Nehemiah sought to be “remembered by God, for good”. He mentioned this prayer a number of times. What greater reward is there than this?
Reform 4-Restore the Sabbath|Nehemiah 13:15-18
One thing we all can do is pray. The Word instructs us to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1–4). I’m guilty of neglecting this practice.
