The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house… And in this place I will grant peace.
The house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence and fame and splendour in the sight of all nations. – The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it.
“Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days”…But the temple he had spoke of was his body. – For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. – The Word became flesh and lived for a while among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. – In these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things and through whom he made the universe.
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favour rests.” – Price of Peace. – For he himself is our peace… – And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
