But the fruit of the Spirit is…patience…gentleness.
The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness…
Live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. – Love is patient, love is kind.
For at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. – Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
