Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say?

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer.

Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? “Father, save me from this hour?” No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.  Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven. “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” – Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done. – An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthen him.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross! – “The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life – only to take it up again.” – For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of Him who sent me. – “Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”
