The arm of the Lord is not too short to save

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stout-hearted. – “While I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice.”

Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper.  Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Saviour. – But you, O Lord, be not far off; O my Strength, come quickly to help me.

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm.  Nothing is too hard for you.” – He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. – And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?  I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly.
