Taking the very nature of a servant

“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers.”

Moses stood between the Lord and you to declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid. – For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the fact of the earth. – Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. – Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:  Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house, testifying to what would be said in the future.  But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house.  And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.
